Manuel Garcia

LPO, CPO

In 1972 along with his father co-founded Manuel Garcia Prosthetics & Orthotic Centers. Currently, he is the CEO and clinical director. As an American Board Certified and Ohio License Prosthetist and Orthotist with over 50 years' experience, he has had numerous board and presidential positions for orthotic and prosthetic organizations throughout his career. He was a founding member of Point Health Centers of America and has served as the President of the State Licensing Board of Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics. He has also served as Board President of the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics


In May of 2013 he was a participant in a panel of 20 national leading experts on Microprocessor controlled prosthetic knees at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. to discuss various benefits relating to the use of microprocessor prosthetic knees for wounded veterans.


His specialties include congenital anomalies of the upper and lower limb, hip-disarticulations, knee disarticulations and microprocessor knees for above knee amputees.


In his spare time, Manuel enjoys spending time with his wife Trudy, his grandchildren, boating on Lake Erie, skiing and volunteering for the Rotary Club of Strongsville.

David J. Garcia

David J. Garcia 

LP, CP

David is a third-generation practitioner, following in his father and grandfather's footsteps. His interest began at an early age by observing the technological advancements and how they improved the lives of amputees. In 1992 he began working full-time as a technician and in 1995 was a certified Pedorthist. Continuing his education he became a certified technician in 1996 and by 1998 he accomplished his goal to be a certified Prosthetist.


His interests focus on vacuum-assisted socket technology (VASS), microprocessor-controlled prosthesis, and upper limb prosthetic development. David was one of the very first practitioners in the country to fit the Proprio Foot to a bilateral patient as well as the first to fit an ILimb prosthesis in Ohio.


David has acted as a past President of the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotist and Prosthetics and continues to be an active member of the Academy.


In his free time, he enjoys camping, app development and programing, and is an active member of The American Legion Riders & The American Legion Sons.

Marian C. Paulus

LP, CP

Marian is an American board-certified and Ohio-licensed prosthetist with her bachelor’s degree in prosthetics from Florida International University. She has over 25 years of experience in the orthotics and prosthetics field. Marian’s clinical experience is vast and unique because she too is an above-the-knee amputee.


At the age of one, she began to wear a prosthesis. She has been able to use her humor and compassion to assist many patients with the trials of adjusting to the loss of a limb. Marian has not allowed her limb loss to slow her down as she enjoys playing softball, basketball, roller-skating, bicycling, and golfing.

Charles A. Gustkey III

Charles A. Gustkey III

CPOA, CTP

Charles has more than 35 years of experience in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. His expertise is in the manufacturing, modification, and design of prostheses and orthoses.


He designed and developed a custom discontinuous-shaped covering system for use with a microprocessor-controlled knee prosthesis.

Maggie

 L.Ped

Maggie is an American Board Certified and Ohio Licensed Pedorthist. She has over 13 years of experience. Maggie was drawn to Pedorthics after an accident left her with a broken leg. Maggie understands that the best way to proper alignment and correct biomechanics is often through orthotic intervention. Listening to what her patients need and taking their best interests to her heart is of the utmost importance.


Maggie enjoys spending her free time with her growing family, going to live music events, and spoiling her dogs.

John

 LP, CP, MSOP

John is an American board-certified and Ohio-licensed prosthetist. He earned his master’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Eastern Michigan University and also has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Kent State.


John enjoys finding ways to innovate through 3D printing and software development to ensure the patients he works with receive the best possible care. Outside of work, John spends his time playing sports, board games, and hiking with his dog Scooby.
